De aardbeving in Haiti doet veel mensen realiseren hoe betrekkelijk het leven is, op allerlei manieren. Een van de dingen die het voor mij weer eens duidelijk maakt, is hoe belachelijk de Nederlandse/Westerse hang naar een risicoloze samenleving is.
